  • Overview

    Our program is designed to provide Interns with a real-world look at banking. An internship with Fulton Financial Corporation will provide you with valuable experience in a broad array of banking operations. Under close supervision of designated supervisor, is responsible for observing Bank policies and procedures to acquire a working knowledge of a specific function/department of the Bank’s operation and services. Specific activities vary by assignment. A wide range of college majors are considered based on specific needs of department - i.e Agribusiness Management or Livestock Science is preferred.


    Area of work study focus will be in Agricultural Financial Services area.


    This role is a Summer, 2019 internship.


    Essential Duties

    • Performs assigned duties in designated department to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
      • Duties will include shadowing Agriculture Lenders, learning credit analysis, and preparing loan analysis packages.
      • Support agricultural marketing activities for the Agriculture Financial Services group.
    • Reports on progress in internship program and feedback about program to manager. Management feedback must indicate satisfactory progress to remain in Internship Program. Duration of program may vary.
    • Intern may participate in Career Training/Education as needed, as well as, professional networking events.




    High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Specialty: Fulton interns will be expected to have completed, or currently enrolled and in the process of completing, a 4 year college degree at an accredited college or university.

    A wide range of college majors are considered based on specific needs of department  Agribusiness Management or Livestock Science is preferred.


    Strong academic performance is required.


    Preference will be offered to rising sophomores and juniors (for summer), and juniors/seniors for fall.


    Would have completed a minimum of one semester freshman year and at least 15 or more credits. (Required)


    0 to 6 months Experience requirements will match the needs of the assigned department. Previous work experience, leadership experience, and community involvement preferred. (Preferred)


    0 to 6 months May or may not have had previous internship. (Preferred)


    May or may not have had agriculture related. (Preferred)
